T. Edward Bak was born in Denver, but is drawn to travel and frequently migrates throughout North America. His current project, WILD MAN - The Natural History of Georg Wilhelm Steller, was inspired while he worked for several months aboard a small ship in Southeast Alaska's Inside Passage. He has since conducted research in the Aleutian archipelago and St. Petersburg, Russia. Mr. Bak has taught with the Independent Publishing resource Center, Pacific Northwest College of Art and Portland Community College, and was the 2007 Fellowship recipient with the Center for Cartoon Studies in White River Junction, Vermont. His stories have been featured in Drawn and Quarterly Showcase, The Best American Comics 2008, The Graphic Canon, and MOME, where WILD MAN was originally serialized. http://www.antizerogravity.com/

Ville Hänninen has been writing comics criticism for various magazines and newspapers in Finland since 1997. He has written or edited 12 books, including The Finnish Comics Annual 2011, a colossal anthology of Finnish comics, and In the Face, a book of interviews with contemporary Finnish comic artists. He has also co-curatored "Eyeballing!", an exhibition of Finnish comics in the Museum of Contemporary Art KIASMA in Helsinki. At the moment he's working on an education, publication and exhibition project ("Building up the stories") that aims at getting talented young artists to fulfill their potential as comics artists.
Megan Kelso is an American comic book artist and writer. She is known for the minicomic, Girlhero, as well as Artichoke Tales, Queen of the Black Black and The Squirrel Mother. Dmitry Yakovlev is one of the leading promoters, publishers and exhibitors of alternative comics in Russia. In 2007 he founded Boomfest, a comics festival held annually in St. Petersburg which has attracted such artists and scholars as Joe Sacco, Lorenzo Mattotti, Jessica Abel, Thierry Groensteen and Julie Doucet, as well as showcased local talent. Through his Boomkniga Press, launched in 2008, Yakovlev has published Russian translations of David B.’s Epileptic, Marjane Satrapi’s Persepolis, as well as Russian works such as Anton Nikolaev and Viktoria Lomasko’s Forbidden Art. http://boomfest.ru/en
